Lovin' Rockin Dixie
This photographic ethnography explores the world behind the scenes of horse racing. Following the lives of a tight-knit group of people who groom, train and race horses in the San Francisco Bay Area, these photographs are a visual supplement to a written sociological study investigating social hierarchy in community and the influence of horses on personal identity.
